21 Days of Fasting 2018 - Day #12
Great Expectations
21 Days of Fasting, Prayer and Personal Devotion
Day Twelve – Praying Boldly
As children of the most-high God, we don’t have to be fearful when coming to the Lord in prayer. We can approach the throne with boldness and confidence knowing that He will answer us according to His will in our lives. Jesus already paid the price.
Hebrews 4:16 (KJV):
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Because God is so great, powerful and mighty, it’s hard to come to Him with this fearless, confident, and bold attitude but this is exactly what we are admonished to do! Sometimes, we just have to face things head-on. Even though we may be afraid, let us learn to rely on a God who can do more than we can even imagine. The scripture above says, when we do this, we will find mercy and grace, in the perfect time, when help is needed.
Here are some scriptures to help you approach God boldly:
Please Read: Matthew 9:18-26, Ephesians 3:16-21, Hebrews 10:18-25
When you pray today, seek God boldly and with confidence in whatever you are asking of Him. Come to him with a great expectation, for nothing is too difficult for God. He holds all things in His hands and has a perfect plan for your life!
What is an example of when you prayed to the Lord, with boldness, and He answered? Write it down.
Come to God’s throne with Boldness!
