21 Days of Fasting 2018 - Day #13
Great Expectations
21 Days of Fasting, Prayer and Personal Devotion
Day Thirteen – Receiving a Clear Vision
Luke 4:1-2, 14-15: Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the desert, where for forty days He was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them He was hungry… Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about Him spread through the whole countryside. He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised Him.
In the passage above, there are two things I want to emphasize. Notice that He went into the dessert “full of the Holy Spirit,” but He returned to Galilee, “in the power of the Holy Spirit.” Two powerful thoughts to give you a clear vision for your life are:
• To be full of the Spirit is knowing God and His character.
• To be in the power of the Spirit means knowing that we have the God-given strength and authority and are walking in His will and purpose.
Imagine if we were all walking in the “Power of the Holy Spirit” what we could accomplish in our lives for the glory of God. Today, God could be leading you to dedicate your lives so that you can receive a clear vision and to receive direction for your life. He will empower you!
Here are some scriptures to direct and guide you in having a clearer vision:
Please Read: Romans 1:1-2, Psalm 37:3-7, Isaiah 48:17-18
Are there areas in your life that need more clarity? Write them down.
Be expecting to have a clearer vision.
