21 Days of Fasting 2018 - Day #3
Great Expectations
21 Days of Fasting, Prayer and Personal Devotion
Day Three – Your Faith
James 1:2-7 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. If we know who God really is and the power He has given us, then nothing is impossible for God. Pray with confidence and have faith that He will answer.
When we pray, let us have a great expectancy of what God can do. Praying will strengthen our faith. Let our prayers be from the depths of our souls which will produce powerful results.
When trials of life come, we have a natural tendency to try and find answers and solutions on our own but we need to turn to God first because “Nothing is impossible for God.” When you pray today, acknowledge the promises God has given you and pray with confidence, trusting in Him for the answer. Let us be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, not wavering in our faith but trusting completely in Him.
Here are some promises to refresh your faith today. Please look up and read the following scriptures: Matthew 17:20, Romans 8:28, Romans 12:2.
Write a Prayer of Faith believing it will happen according to His will:
Don’t forget to spend time in prayer and reading His word today.
